"Scribbling Foxes" is
the manuscript of my unpublished book of essays. I started working on
this book more than 20 years ago, writing an essay whenever the spirit
moved me. I am hard to move. Consequently, the book never really got
finished, and half a dozen additional essays remain in various states
of incompleteness. When the spirit moves me again, I hope to complete
the remaining essays and add them to the book. I have decided to publish
the work as it stands here on the Web since it's likely that I will
never get around to completing it and transforming it into dead tree
decorations.
