Coloquio Columns

La Revista electrónica de la comunidad hispana del area metropolitana de Baltimore-Washington DC

Since 2003 I have been an occasional columnist on the Coloquio.com website. Coloquio is published out of Baltimore, Maryland by Javier Bustamante. The electronic successor to a very successful print version, Coloquio is one of the leading cultural voices of the Hispanic communities in the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area. But the reach of Coloquio is much greater than its geographical region, with Hispanics worldwide, and those interested in Hispanic culture, making the site one of the premier websites in this category.

In addition to cultural events, Coloquio is heavy on politics and contemporary issues. In this regard I was invited by the publisher to become a regular columnist to comment on current public policy issues, largely from the perspective of an historian.

Reproduced here, are my columns from Coloquio.
